Guy Kawasaki comes up with another thought provoking post, this time about how to get a job in silicon valley.
Worth reading even if your not looking for a job in silicon valley.
As I read through Guy’s post, I see a recurring theme – make it EASY for the company to see how good a fit you are.
Make it a “no-brainer” that you are the perfect hire for the position – Concisely package yourself, your documents and your interactions so they are all aligned with what they require, and stay on message.
Will require a little bit more effort than just emailing your resume and cover letter.
